Securing a facility during a maintenance turnaround

Keeping your plant secure during a turnaround is a top priority, and is often challenging. Specialized crews of workers and contractors must be given access to vital components of the plant’s infrastructure and machinery; many of these workers will only be on site for a few short weeks and some will enter the facility for the first time. Sometimes, the projects they do, along with their security needs, can be planned long in advance, but often, turnaround projects are not fully defined until the last minute; and budgets are always tight.
