Enterprise Air closes Series A Round

NEW YORK, NY - March 22, 2002 - Enterprise Air, a leading provider of end-to-end wireless software solutions to software applications vendors, systems integrators and large enterprises, has closed its Series A financing of an undisclosed amount. The investment came from private investors as well as a fund managed by Columbia University. Enterprise Air works with vertical industry specialists to extend software application functionality to mobile PDA devices such as Pocket PC and Palm OS devices. The company has built several mobile extensions for law enforcement and public safety applications such as the Mobile MugShot™ application, which integrates with video surveillance and facial recognition systems, allowing officers in the field to use handheld computing devices to receive alarm information and images from surveillance systems. Other products of Enterprise Air include solutions for Data Collection and Sales Force Automation. Enterprise Air has built partnerships with large key players such as IBM, Sybase, Compaq and Casio. The company released Version 1.0 of its software in early February and is working with its partners to deploy best-of-breed mobile application solutions to the market. The company will use the funds for Sales, Business Development and R&D.
