NYC OEM Deploys Enterprise Air Portable Credentialing System for Emergency Response

NEW YORK, NY - January 23, 2006 - Enterprise Air is pleased to announce a recent deployment at the New York City Office of Emergency Management. The NYC-OEM has deployed Enterprise Air's Portable Credentialing System for use during inter-agency and private sector first response to incidents.

The Enterprise Air Portable Credentialing system is used by the NYC-OEM to issue identity badges to first responders and to verify identities and track access to secure areas within an emergency response site. The system is packaged in easily transportable ruggedized cases and contains personnel enrollment stations, badge printers, handheld devices for identity verification, and a ruggedized rapidly deployable mesh networking system for emergency wireless networking. All system components have been configured to operate for up to 24 hours using self contained battery power.
