Press Releases Federal Energy Regulatory Commission adopts RapidCount System for Emergency Management
WASHINGTON, D.C. - January 8, 2007 - FERC has chosen to incorporate the RapidCount System as a core component of emergency planning at its Washington, D.C. facilities, and now uses the RapidCount system in regular evacuation drills. RapidCount has been used successfully in drills at several government agencies, in a variety of physical environments, with and without a wireless network. "Mustering is a critical part of any organization's emergency preparedness and planning," said Michael Hejtmanek, CEO of Enterprise Air. "In an emergency situation, there is no time for errors or delays - emergency coordinators need accurate data, quickly, and deserve good tools to get it. Our RapidCount solution is turnkey, and extremely cost effective because it integrates with an organization's existing ID card system."
