Mobile Badge Management deployed at University of Massachusetts Medical Center

WORCESTER, MA - February 28, 2007 -
The University of Massachusetts Medical Center (UMMC) has recently deployed the Mobile Badge Management solution from Enterprise Air to enhance security at its hospital facilities in Worcester, Massachusetts. The UMMC is now using the application, and its handheld card readers, to verify identification of hospital staff, including temporary workers.

The Mobile Badge Management application was quickly integrated with UMMC's existing physical access control system, enabling security guards to use their existing database of cardholders and access permissions. Deployment of the solution was rapid, enabling UMMC's security personnel to quickly cope with a sudden increase of temporary workers at the hospital site.
