Press Releases New York-based Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) deploy Enterprise Air's Portable Credentialing System NEW YORK - March 15, 2007 - Enterprise Air is pleased to announce the deployment of its Portable Credentialing System for use by a group of New York based Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT). The Portable Credentialing System will be used to enroll and issue credentials to CERT volunteers. “We are extremely excited to have our software used to enroll CERT members and hope that this New York deployment will be the first of many other CERT teams to adopt our software” said Enterprise Air Chief Executive Michael Hejtmanek. The CERT Program is a nationwide initiative, enabling community members to participate as volunteer emergency responders. The CERT program provides an organized way for first responder teams, and offices of emergency management, to register and train community volunteers. Enterprise Air’s Portable Credentialing System (PCS) is a part of the Enterprise Air Emergency Response Access Manager (ERAM) suite, a solution for handling ID cards and credentials at an emergency site. The PCS system enables rapid issuance of new credentials at an emergency site. PCS contains all of the components required to quickly enroll applicants, add certifications, and print badges. The system supports scanning documents and driver’s licenses, capturing fingerprints, capturing signatures, and photographing the applicant. The entire system is packaged in a rugged portable kit and can be easily interfaced to existing identity infrastructures. ERAM is a complete system for issuing & managing credentials, interfacing with existing identity sources, and verifying identity badges and tracking access using handheld devices. Enterprise Air’s Portable Credentialing System provides the CERT teams with the following benefits:
