Enterprise Air launches ERAM system for end-to-end security during an Emergency Response

NEW YORK, NY - March 31, 2007 -
Enterprise Air announced today the product launch and immediate availability of its Emergency Response Access Manager (ERAM) system, a comprehensive technology solution for securing emergency sites and tracking personnel during every stage of an emergency response. The ERAM solution includes an integrated suite of mobile handheld ID card readers, portable equipment for issuing new ID cards, management consoles, and data connectors that securely link the system to command centers.

The ERAM system builds on Enterprise Air's lengthy experience deploying integrated security solutions and mobile equipment and interfacing with other security systems. The components of the ERAM suite can be readily integrated with other existing emergency response systems, including incident control systems, command and control, and other physical access control systems.

With ERAM, security personnel and response coordinators are able to perform the following functions:

  • Verify ID cards for any emergency responder (including FRAC, TWIC, CAC, magstripe, barcode and other card formats)
  • Track entry and exit times for every responder
  • Issue new badges to volunteers, construction workers, and other participants
  • Connect all portable equipment with or without a wireless network, enabling the creation of ad-hoc security perimeters at any location
  • Report all data automatically to central command, enabling coordinators to locate responders and identify resource shortages
  • Securely integrate with other security systems: access control, incident control and others

Enterprise Air has designed the ERAM solution to be modular, so that customers can choose which components to adopt and integrate with their existing systems. The solution is built to be highly secure and fault-tolerant, with ruggedized hardware that can withstand harsh physical conditions.

"So many technology solutions for emergency management are just incomplete," said Michael Hejtmanek, CEO of Enterprise Air. "We have worked very hard to build a complete, end-to-end solution for securing an emergency site - a solution that works in every phase of the response, from mobilization to triage to final recovery. And we've made compatibility our number one feature - so we can work with whatever ID card system, command console, or other emergency management system our customers have chosen to use."
